A software error in the occupant restraint controller module may cause the delayed deployment of the side air bags during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection." Delayed air bag deployment during a crash increases the risk of injury. Dealers will update the occupant restraint controller module software, free of charge. 25V741000 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving. A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. The remaining owner notification letters will be mailed at a later date. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025. During diagnosis dealers may find rubber separating from the bushing on the handling link (SOL S2102000004 Rev C. for reference). This is normal and most likely is not attributed to the noise. Please follow normal diagnosis and ensure all tie-rod and ball joints are properly torqued and if worn, replace. If diagnosis leads to lower control arm replacement, the tension link(s) should be replaced first then test driven to ensure noise has disappeared before any handling link replacements. 11032996

May 2026 Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions STEERING Before replacing the steering column control module (SCCM) due to wipers inop, wipers not turning off, wipers not returning to position, heated steering wheel not working and/or steering controls inop, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) light on, please follow these steps: 1.- Review if there is any active DTC. Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches', horn's, heated steering wheel, airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM. Through diagnosis review if activation from horn, wipers or turn signal is requested and are working. 5.- Disconnect the SCCM fuse for around 30s,and repeat the previous steps to see if failure still present. 6.- Do a hard reset to BCM and evaluate if any DTC is set. Retest if failure still present. Review the active DTCs. 7.- Before replacing the SCCM disconnect it and reconnect it again. Note: Wipers position is not controlled by SCCM, verify motor wiper status if issue continues. If request from SCCM is sent to BCM, then verify if the communication to wipers is not working properly. If there are no DTC's active, physical defects, steering controls inop, wipers inop, heated steering wheel inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced. Note: WL / WS SCCMs do not contain a Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) The Steering Angle is computed within the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) module. See Electronic Power Steering (EPS) module for diagnosis and repair procedures. 11032857

May 2026 Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TBM2.0H Setting U0080-00. Do not replace TBM ECU or SGW. If replacement is determined, Verify "Z" part number availability. Order a "Z" part number for all Exchange Orders, Warranty, Mopar, Customer Pay and Service Contract. Order "68" part number for New, Unsold units only. Under certain conditions, SGW Module may take longer to establish Ethernet communication after boot up. If it takes longer than 30 seconds, The TBM2.0H module will set DTC U0080 - Ethernet Bus 1. As soon as SGW responds, the TBM2.0H will demature the DTC and move it to STORED. This issue should not cause any customer related symptoms. Do not replace the following TBM Part Numbers: WL: 68639445AF,68637489AE,68663479AE. WS: 68734941AA,68729188AC. EJ: 68592344AI. KM: 68592343AL,68735975AD. DT: 68634362AJ,68624784AF,68624784AE,68735493AB,68735493AA. DJ (HDCC): 68608721AJ. If the TBM2.0H module has set the DTC U0080 and it is STORED or ACTIVE, please clear the fault and do nothing. No further diagnostics is required. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TBM2.0H Setting DTC B1E21 Do Not Replace the TBM ECU. Is triggered when the TBM Backup Battery is discharged, inactive, or drained. This can happen during the lifetime of the vehicle. TBM should NOT be replace for B1E21, since there is no fault on TBM. TBM battery is replaceable. Part number of the back-up battery inside TBM is 68597650AA. Do not replace the following TBM Part Numbers: WL: 68639445A$, 68663479A$. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TBM Setting DTC U0499-00 Please refer to SOL S268A000004 if you are attempting to replace or repair the telematics box due to DTC U0499-00.
